Key features

This rechargeable rangefinder measures from 5 metres up to either 600 m or 1,000 m depending on the variant, with a stated accuracy of ±1 m/yard. It uses a 905 nm Class 1 semiconductor laser (output <5 mW) and shows distances on an in-view LCD for quick reads.

Optics include a manual rotating eyepiece with approx. 6–6.5x magnification and multilayer coated lenses. The unit has a built-in 3.7V Li‑ion battery charged via Type‑C and a compact footprint of 96×34×67 mm.

How to use

Switch units by long‑pressing M and the measurement key to toggle between metres and yards. To lock onto a flag, measure the background behind the flag, hold the measure button to enter scan mode and sweep from the background toward the flag — the display will flash and the unit will vibrate when the flag is recognised, showing the distance and slope compensation.

Focusing is manual via the eyepiece; the device performs semiconductor laser ranging and displays results in the eyepiece LCD. Working temperature range is −20 to 50°C with operating humidity ≤80%.

Practical tips

Do not measure through glass as reflections can affect readings. Minimum reliable distance is 5 metres and in low light the eyepiece display is not illuminated, so extra lighting may be needed to read results.

Rain, fog, dust or dense vegetation can reduce maximum range — where possible, pick light‑coloured distant targets like buildings for best results.
